Jackson Rank Up #1
Now that Jackson had been expanding his pokemon knowledge, especially by catching more and battling with them, he was feeling more confident with his skills. Still, he knew that there was still a lot for him to learn, and a lot of pokemon out there he hadn’t seen. The trainer still wanted to reward himself for his successful efforts.
Although the current economic state happening in the world had further left him struggling to make enough credits, pokemon had provided a new way for him to make profits. With doing fieldwork and missions he had been able to get a sizable amount of extra credits. Most of this went to living expenses, but based on how much progress Jackson had made he knew some of this could be spent on something rewarding.
The problem was mainly that the trainer didn’t exactly know what to spend his credits on. As such he had come to Groveheart to look at some of the shops. It was a very prosperous area of the region and had a lot of unique shops. The trainer was now walking down its streets, looking at shop signs and windows for something interesting. His starter pokemon, Atlas, also walked at his side, looking into the windows with intrigue. Jackson thought about how much his pokemon had also improved, and decided he should save a small amount to buy something for Atlas.
As he was walking Jackson became interested in a nearby shop. It offered various electronics, some of them being ones that were rather uncommon to see. The trainer entered the shop, his expertise in electronics making him interested in seeing what the shop had.
The shopkeeper greeted him from behind the counter and as Jackson looked around he wasn’t disappointed in the selection. There were tons of electronics from expensive, rare products to various parts. Atlas looked around but as one would expect had no knowledge or interest in human electronics.
The trainer took his time as he looked through all of the electronics and parts. He inspected them carefully before moving onto the next one. He finally made his choice as he took a reasonably priced part over to the counter and paid. He knew that he would be able to put the part to good use with one of his tech projects.
Jackson thanked the shopkeeper as he walked back onto the street. He then started to head to a nearby shop with Atlas following after him. The trainer opened the door and entered, the smell of delicious baked goods hitting his nose. Atlas walked in eagerly, his nose wiggling as he sniffed at the air.
The shopkeeper greeted him as he walked in and after returning the greeting Jackson ordered a few pokemon treats. He then turned and bent down to give one to Atlas, who was eagerly wagging his tail. “Yeah you’ve done a good job with all your battle training. You definitely deserve this.” The trainer laughed as Atlas eagerly snatched the treat and gobbled it down.
