Urgent Message

Going about your day, you suddenly receive a ping on your TD, or phone. Thinking it to be a normal alert it goes unanswered for a minute, until a second ping comes through and an override makes it so this one cannot be ignored. Your TD goes into emergency mode, and a message appears before your vision. You halt in your tracks, your vision is filled with a breaking announcement, and those without TDs can see the announcement on billboards and every display around them.
Seconds after the news cast ends you feel the ground rumble beneath your feet. The warning came at precisely the right moment, as you begin to feel the effects of the eruptions in all corners of the regions.
Time to act.

New Region Repair
Fossils Have been discovered in ReignsRest! Trainers can scavenge them in four locations around the region, and donate them to the lab in Ethermoor for restoration. This will unlock four new pokemon in the region as their DNA is reintroduced after restoration! Visit the region repair page by clicking the fossil below to learn more.
New Pokemon Available
Pokemon from Paldea are now available in Wild Rolls, Capture Images, and as Custom fusions. Please read the rules regarding them below before making new pokemon with these fusions!
1. Paradox and Legendary pokemon are NOT available.
2. The rest of the pokemon are NEW to the region, meaning your trainers did not have a paldaen starter growing up, and they only appeared AFTER the Nera outbreak, etc.
3. You may choose to opt OUT of receiving a paldaen pokemon in wild rolls, if you don't want to be spoiled on them, up until February. After February you will not be able to opt out, to keep things fair.

As October nears its end and we reach the height of the spooky season, we have a new small event for you all! Read about all the news below!
Main Event- Candlelit Skies
The crevice almost seemed to calm down for a time, an eerie quiet that rolled through the desert. Dark skies were lit up with a few tiny blue and white lights…then more of them. They were coming from the Crevice! An army of Litwick/Drifloon all in different stages of evolution! It was hauntingly beautiful to watch them float across the night sky but then they got closer. They started to grab people by the arms- attempting to pull them to the nearest Crevice entrance!

We are hosting another Quick challenge in the discord Challenge channel that you can submit to as much as you want for easy rewards!

New Event- the CREVICE
Learn about the new events unfolding in the Reignsrest Region!
Large earthquakes have rattled through region-wide from Brookfell all the way to the ground under Wintervale. They are most prominent in the desert regions and have caused a large split between Brookfell and Ethermoor. It opened into a large cavern over the past few days and has traveled extremely fast through the desert towards Grovehart. Most worryingly is that the crevice is filled with Lava and has started to spread wild fires. Read more about the event below!

With the large crevice splitting its way through the ground its disturbed multiple Mogmollo nests and caused Mogmi to panic and dart up into the sky. This tactic of raining from the sky in a fire-ball state is normally fine however the sheer number of them is causing quite the problem.

As August rolls around, we have many new features to release for you all! Read about each of them below, and be sure to check out the multitide of new prompts available to be completed. As a reminder, the event is ongoing until the 8th of august!
The Hospital Opens!New Mechanic
Trainers are now able to complete a prompt to unlock access to the POkecenter and Medical facilities, to purchase items to heal themselves and their pokemon from the local hospitals. Should this prove too expensive, or a trainer wishes to take care of injuries themselves, there are 2 new prompts that can be completed to heal status effects on your own as well!

New Dangerous MissionsNew Mechanic
New lore-based dangerous missions have become available for trainers to complete! These missions have a high reward, and some of them have requirements for entering. Each comes with a level of danger to the trainer and pokemon entering, so do so only if you're prepared and willing to accept the risks!
New MissionsRegion Repair Returns!Updated Mechanic
Region Repair makes it's debut on the lorekeeper site, and members can now participate to unlock 3 areas. Two of them are nearly complete as progress has carried over from prior donations, but the third is a brand new CITY and will require much more coollaboration and effort to unlock! Influenced Pokemon Release New Mechanic
Influenced pokemon have been teased since the release of the regions starters, but now trainers can influence their very own pokemon through a process much like evolution! No pokemon is exempt from this ability, though there are a few rules and requirements before the Influenced state can be achieved. New Pokemon Abilities Update
Pokemon abilities have received a massive overhaul, to make them more useful to people and characters. We had a lot of battle themed or tracking themed abilities which were almost completely unused, so we've reworked them and balanced them so pokemon of all levels and types have something immediatly useful they can choose!Pokemon Abilities Document
If you'd like to change the ability of your pokemon, you may do so by submitting a claim (multiple pokemon per claim is fine!). Normally abilities can only be exchanged during evolution, but because of this big update we're opening it up for every player ONCE outside of evolution.
A Mysterious Owl spotted in Wintervale... New Pokemon Form
In the blizzard filled wilds around Wintervale, a new regional variant of a familiar pokemon has been spotted! The month of June brings us many new updates, a continuation of our new storyline event, and a massive content update regarding our missions and prompts available for trainers to complete! Continue reading below to learn about each update, and happy playing!
New Missions, Trainer Prompts, Blackthorn and Baba make an Appearance!
Old missions have been recycled and turned into new repeatable mission types. You can now complete different categories of missions to fit your characters personality and place in the world, as well as help out around Reignsrest! They are no longer locked behind exploration, since exploration is no longer necessary, though in the future they may be tied to things like home location and trainer rank as they rotate bi-monthly.
Trainer prompts are new repeatable prompts that are meant to encompass a more wide range of personal art your trainers can complete, rewarding credits for each submission. The prompts cover a more broad topic, so almost any art you complete related to characters will fit something! Personal art is the only art that can be submitted to these.
Blackthorn and Baba's quests have been opened so trainer's may complete them to gain access to their rewards - located under trainer prompts! These can only be completed once, and unlock unique recipes, access to a shop, and a unique award!
Wild Rolls - New Pokemon Codes!
Wild Rolls are now distributed via Codes, an item that will go into your inventory and can be attached to design approval to be used, traded with other players, or sold (TBA) for credits. Depending on your wild roll you may receive a basic, shiny, delta, or attribute code, and the fusion information will be listed under the notes/source of the item when viewing it!
Past wild rolls will need to be converted into these new items, stay tuned for the process to do this!
New Scavenging and Berry Picking Prompts!
You will now find weekly prompts under the "Activities" in our prompts section! These can be completed once per week, and you can pick for berries and scavenge with these new prompts! No artwork is required for either. This replaces our manual scavenging mechanic, and introduces berry picking! Happy trash diving!
Pedigree Paws and Custom Vouchers
Pedigree Paws is open for business! Due to the increased levels of the fog, Nera, and environmental factors - it is becoming increasingly difficult to breed and maintain pedigree pokemon in Reignsrest! Because of this, only 10 custom pedigrees are available each month, and their prices are increased to meet demand. These pedigrees are first come, first served, and are custom in nature - meaning they can be any non-shiny, non-legendary pokemon you want at stage 1! Stage 2 and beyond are no longer available, as the resources Rania would need to raise pedigrees to that stage isn't feasible with the current world state anymore.
Cost of Items on the Rise
The cost of items is on the rise as more and more avenues for earning credits are becoming available versus the effort into obtaining them. The more spendy items in Baba's shop, the nera jar recipes, and some of IDs have all risen in price to accommodate these changes to make things feel more worth it to earn and trade.
Trouble Among the Trees - Week Three

Troubled Trees - Event
It feels like a whole new world has opened once again as Rayquaza's sacrifice pushed back the fog for now. Blackthorn has sent out field agents to the other cities to scout but in the meantime, while we wait for them to return something seems off with our strange blue island...
The Sylvangloam appeared overnight off the coast around Grovehart not long after the Nera outbreak.
Scientists and field agents have been sent out to explore this land, take samples and figure out where it came from but so far all our efforts seem to just...not work. Any structure we build there is destroyed seemingly by the foliage as if the island itself is pushing us away. Pokemon are able to pass into the denser heart of the forest but Humans always end up turned around and back where they started.
These measures against people were always harmless but recently the Gloam has been harsher with its treatment. The island trembles frequently, and the trees and large mushrooms that shadow the area shake with the motion. Our science tents are being destroyed much faster and almost haphazardly...Something's wrong and we don't know if it's linked to Rayquaza just yet.

The new storyline event has begun! Blackthorn has a distressing message for you, and a task he hopes trainers will join him in completing. This is part 1 of the next phase of storyline events, and will run for one month! You can find information on the event below, as well as through our world history pages along with our past events!

Coming on 6/1, many functions and activities in Reignsrest will be undergoing a massive overhaul! Wild Rolls, Scavenging, Missions, Prompts, and more will be getting a much needed update to make things more automated and fun for all! The mechanics of these areas will not be changing, only how you submit them/the prompts themselves (freshening things up!), so stay tuned for information on it's way!
Missing Prompts, oh my!
Many of you may have noticed you were unable to submit prompts in the last week or so. This is because we cannot accept submissions to prompts we planned to delete, and the easiest way to ensure that didn't happen was to turn off submissions entirely! Starting today the bare minimum prompts are open once more (exploration, DNA tracking, etc), but Missions, Trainer Prompts, and Activities remain closed until the first of June. Thanks for understanding!

Welcome to Reignsrest!
Our new site is up, and registration is now open. There is a lot to process and learn, so we'll take this slow and help each other get to know the new site and it's functions. This is our first ever news post, and with it comes many updates, goodies, and announcements! Be sure to give everything a read, but don't be afraid to simply explore and ask questions as well. Our discord is the perfect place to engage with the mod team and get answers to the questions you have!

Wild Rolls, Scavenging, and AXP
Changes to how we process things like Wild Rolls, Scavenging, and AXP and EXP are imminent! Read up on those changes and how they function on the site in our new Guidebook, located in the navbar at the top of the site. Lorekeeper How-ToThe First Week
This first week will be about settling in, making sure everyone gets their bank and characters assigned, and feels comfortable on the new site! As such, certain areas will remain closed as we transition, such as Design Approval and Updates. These will open after the week is over!
In this first week we encourage people to explore! Learn how to set your site theme (under account settings), edit your profile, edit your character's profile, link your character's and create relationships, submit claims, upload to the gallery, and more! Ask questions in the discord on things you do not understand or have trouble with so we can help, and so we can create the ever-important F.A.Q fore the future.
You may post Wild Rolls and Scavenging on this news post (if you have them available), to get yourself acclimated to that new process! Simply respond to the appropriate comment and an admin will reply with your rolls, or award you your chosen scavenging bundle which you can then open in your inventory like a lootbox.
