Physical Description:
Ross has a broad nose, a ready smile, and amber-brown eyes. His locked hair falls just past his shoulders, but he usually wears it up or pulled back to stay out of the way. He's got a stocky build, a little soft. He's a dapper, slightly old-fashioned dresser, more likely to be seen in public with a waistcoat and boots rather than hoodie and sneakers.

You might find Ross:
- in a library, deep in research about an ethically fraught subject of scientific or paranormal interest.
- on his knees with his sleeves rolled up, in a garden full of edible or medicinal (or....poisonous) plants.
- listening empathetically to someone hard on their luck, and then working together to figure out a solution.

History:
- Ross grew up in a rural community, in the swamps between Rivertide and Grovehart, not too far from the coast.
- His mother, Sondra, raises chickens (ie livestock torchic), but used to do significant amount of off-the-record work as a medium & exorcist. She's cagey about this time in her life, which is 100% related to why she's estranged from Ross's genetic father.
- As a young child, Ross struggled with uncontrolled spiritual & psychic experiences. With the aid of a patient teacher, and a rigorous emphasis on ethical conduct, he is much better at managing this than he used to be. Or he was, until he sought out enhancement from an elemental nera. He'll have to relearn those coping skills.
- Like many others, the Eberhardts were forced to relocate to Grovehart for safety. He became drawn into the events of Reignsrest after that.
